Beautifully and viscerally articulated. It struck a deep chord within me as I feel the same way. Thank you for sharing your strong voice in support of Am Yisrael.
I too am a lawyer. I too felt the need to write . I too felt that my only tool was my pen( metaphorically). We fight with what we have. My voice is mine. Welcome to the fight. You can read me at The Bee Sting. Well done!! 💪👏
The lion doesn’t cut it anymore. Israelis and the Jews need to act like hornets. Just swarm and sting everyone, no mercy, until the world realizes it’s better to leave us alone. Our enemies will not stop until they have murdered us all. They have told us this. When someone tells you who they are it’s probably better to believe what they say. Returning land bordering Israel after being attacked was a mistake. Allowing Jordanians into the West Bank after Black September was a mistake. I’m sure the Palestinians would be welcomed in Syria.
Thank you for your voice. I’m a NJ Italian Jew with a super Italian name and people have let all sorts of hate fly in front of me, not knowing I am Jewish. I’m louder about it now, but also more alone. Your words brought a second of feeling less alone. Thank you. With love, another ordinary Jew.
The same anti-Israel sociopathic "activists" who have shown complete indifference at best, outright glee at worst to the brutal and barbaric slaughter and kidnapping of Israelis, try to guilt and shame us about the alleged plight of so-called "innocent" Gazans. Supposedly they expect us to express sorrow, empathy and shame otherwise we're terrible human beings. I have to say that I feel none of that. The so-called "innocent" Gazans are not innocent and even those few that might be, I still don't care. I have as much empathy for Gazans as those "activists" have for the suffering Israelis.
I subscribed. If my wife had a substack account she would subscribe, too. I posted a note supporting my Jewish brothers and sisters a few days ago and today I received a hateful response. Didn't take long. I expect more.
Welcome. I think a lot of us needed to vent our feelings, frustrations, and anger after October 7.

Thank you for commenting Beth! Hope to hear more from you!

Thank you for writing. I felt shock and betrayal among many other things. To feel less useless, I regularly donate to the IDF.
Thank you, Dina, as an Israeli I appreciate your solidarity
