This is a space to participate in the important conversation about what is fact and what is propaganda in the heated public square debate around Jews, Israel, and Zionism.

Since October 7, 2023, there’s been so much hateful propaganda in the world. It’s critical that Jews refuse to stand on the sidelines and watch Jewish history unfold.

This is a place to have those conversations and explore the facts around this topic. It’s a place you’ll find well-researched, thoughtful essays about every topic that touches what it means to be a Jew in a post-October 7th world.

Here’s what you can expect

A little about me…

I’m Dena Tauber, and I’m a real estate lawyer practicing in New York. I had no plans to be a writer. Then October 7th happened, and I haven’t stopped writing since.

Over the last 19 months, I discovered I love writing, and it’s a great way to participate in this important conversation.

My motivation around this can best be described by a conversation I had with my grandmother years ago when I asked her why American Jews didn’t do more to save the Jews of Europe during the Holocaust.

She answered: “We didn’t know.”

Well, now we know, and we can do better for our grandchildren.

Israel isn’t that old, and we Jews inherited a ghetto mentality that we needed for survival. As a Jew, I know we’re not accustomed to standing up for ourselves and “making waves.”

I see this trait in so many Jewish people. So I am here to make waves. I hope you’ll join me.
